Flatbreads - Breadsticks
“Il Panate”, is the name by which the Piedmontese call the “baker” of the village. To this day Mario Fongo still likes to be referred by this, everyday bread delights are baked following tradition since the first day.
The history of the company is linked to the town of Rocchetta Tanaro, in the heart of the Asti Province, where the first village bakery was inaugurated in 1945, it is here that the “long love story” that still link the Fongo family to the best Italian bread making tradition.
A story carried on with passion, dedication and sacrifice that has also brought back great satisfactions, like when in 1993, among the aromas of his workshop, Mario Fongo perfected the recipe for the Languages of Mother-In-Law, the delicious sheets of crunchy bread that they immediately conquered the most loyal customers and who have since then have represented Fongo’s products all over the world.
